Developing Berry Tea Industry, Promoting Rural Revitalization

On July 26th, the opening ceremony of “ China · Zhangjiajie Berry Tea Culture Festival & The first National Berry Tea Harvesting Invitational Tournament ” was held in Zhangjiajie civic square. Mrs. Xiao Xing, deputy secretary-general of China Tea Marketing Association, attended the event.

Located in the hinterland of Wuling mountains, Zhangjiajie has the unparalleled natural scene and excellent ecological environment. Amid this beautiful tourist resort landscape, there is a treasure — Zhangjiajie berry tea, which is a perennial vine plant. Through testing, zhangjiajie berry tea made from its tender buds and leaves has the highest flavonol content of 43.78%, which is the highest among all plants and can be called the “king of flavonol”.
