Tea Tourism Revitalizes Agriculture and Industrial Development: Opening Ceremony of the 7th Tea Tourism Conference

On March 22, the 7th Tea Tourism Conference opened in Anji County, Zhejiang Province. Wang Qing, President of the China Tea Circulation Association and Chairman of the National Tea Standardization Technical Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Centered on the theme “Tea Tourism for Rural Revitalization, Industrial Growth, Embracing Authenticity, and Celebrating Affection,” this Tea Tourism Conference gathered representatives from various sectors. Through meticulously designed keynote presentations, it explored key themes including tea tourism factories, the rising influence of youth consumers, digital communication empowerment, and innovative cultural tourism experiences. By delving into the cultural essence of “Tea Tourism+” and its diverse expression channels, the event aimed to propel Anji’s tea industry toward groundbreaking development.

During the meeting, the China Tea Industry Sightseeing Factory Tourism Recommendation Guide was also released, and the signing ceremony for the Anji Tea-Light Tourism Integration Industry Project was held.

Since its inception in 2018, the Tea Tourism Conference has consistently upheld three pivotal missions: “Implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy to strengthen industrial foundations” ,”Enhancing cultural-tourism integration to boost cultural confidence” and “Responding to the Three-Tea Coordinated Development Initiative to empower high-quality development.” By exploring innovative pathways for clustering tea industry chains and synergistic cultural-tourism integration, the conference has injected fresh vitality into China’s tea industry’s high-quality economic growth.
