On March 16, the 2024 Green Tea Brand Conference was successfully held in Wuzhong District, Suzhou, and the second Suzhou Taihu Dongting Mountain Biluochun Tea Culture Festival opened at the same time. Wang Qing, the chairman of China Tea Marketing Association(CTMA) and director general of the National Technical Committee 339 on Tea of Standardization Administration of China(SAC/TC339), Liu Zhonghua, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of Hunan Normal University and other leaders, as well as government representatives, industry organizations, enterprise representatives and distributors from 23 provinces such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong and Zhejiang attended the event.
President Wang Qing mentioned in his speech that green tea is the most representative staple tea in China, with a wide distribution of producing areas, different qualities and styles, and a large number of brands. It is hoped that enterprises will take this conference as an opportunity to seize the development of the green tea industry, continuously optimize the industrial layout, strengthen technological innovation, continue to promote the docking of production and marketing, and create new high-quality productivity of China’s green tea.
At the conference, Academician Liu Zhonghua commented on Dongting Mountain Biluochun tea and put forward suggestions on the quality improvement and brand development of Dongting Mountain Biluochun tea. Shen Weiwei, deputy chief supervisor of CTMA, made the “Analysis of National Green Tea Industry and Brand Development” report, which comprehensively and systematically analyzed the situation of the national tea industry and development status of green tea brands, and put forward suggestions for the green tea industry. Pang Yanliang, vice president of CTMA, released the results of a survey on the brand strength of green tea producing areas. A number of important signing ceremonies for the tea industry were also held at the event, which provided help for continuously extending the tea industry chain, expanding the tea industry consumer market, and promoting the development of the green tea industry to create a new situation.
