According to the data released by General Administration of Customs of the P.R.China, in April 2024, the export of Chinese tea is 32,300 tons, increased by 1.14% year-on-year. The volume of export of is 116 million $ (US), reduced by 16.19% year-on-year. The average export price is 3.60/kg $ (US), reduced by 17.14% compared with the same period last year.
Up to April, the export of Chinese tea added up to 118,500 tons, slightly increased by 1.00%, with the volume of export of 443 million $ (US), reduced by 20.97%. From January to April, the average export price is 3.74/kg $ (US), reduced by 21.75% compared with the same period last year.

Look at the tea category. From January to April 2024, China’s green tea export volume was 102,400 tons, accounting for 83.3% of the total export volume, with an increase of 3,743 tons (3.8%); The export volume of black tea was 7685 tons, accounting for 7.1% of the total export volume, a decrease of 770 tons(9.11%); The export volume of oolong tea was 5267 tons, accounting for 6.3% of the total export volume, a decrease of 2193 tons(29.4%); The export volume of jasmine tea was 2,302 tons, accounting for 1.5% of the total export volume, an increase of 557 tons,(32.0%); The export volume of Pu ‘er tea was 497 tons, accounting for 0.5% of the total export volume, a decrease of 89 tons(15.2%); The export volume of other scented tea was 41 tons, the export volume of black tea was 188 tons and the export volume of white tea was 117 tons.
