From May 23th-26th, the Beijing International Tea Expo 2025, Beijing Maliandao International Tea Culture Exchange Conference 2025, Beijing-Quanzhou Tea Promotion Conference 2025 was successfully Held at the Beijing Exhibition Centre.
The Events held over a dozen of diverse and content-rich tea brand promotion and tea culture themed activities at the Beijing Exhibition Centre and Malian Dao, achieving significant results.
According to statistics, the total visitor volume of the exhibition exceeded 80,000, and on-site retail sales reached 50 million yuan, fully demonstrating the strong driving effect of the tea industry on the consumer market.
As the Guest City, Quanzhou has set up two major exhibition areas: the “Quanzhou Tea Theme Pavilion” and the “Quanzhou Featured Agricultural Products Exhibition and Sales Zone.” Leading products from top enterprises in tea, incense, and ceramics are all on display. Interactive experience zones for intangible cultural heritage skills, photo spots featuring southern Fujian red-brick walls, and welcoming reception areas adorned with Xunpu’s “Zanhuawei” hair accessories are bustling with visitors. Innovative cultural products such as ceramic incense burners, tea pets, porcelain flowers, and scented candles fully demonstrate the perfect fusion of traditional culture and modern consumption. Using tea as a bridge, Quanzhou has created a comprehensive, multi-dimensional, and in-depth new audiovisual ecosystem, extending the promotional reach of the exhibition to multiple leading industries. The live heritage of Nanyin tea gatherings and Song-Yuan tea rituals, alongside cross-industry breakthroughs in digital-industrial achievements and aerospace-medical applications, highlights the city’s commitment to cultural preservation, industrial upgrading, and technological empowerment—showcasing the charm of the “East Asian Cultural Capital.”
Moreover, “Tea-Gather” International Students’ Beijing Tea Salon drew in-depth participation from international students in Beijing, representing 19 countries including the UK, France, Australia, Russia, Egypt, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. Through immersive experiences, it sparked a cross-border dialogue on tea culture.
The students explored the expo booths featuring renowned teas from Quanzhou (Fujian), Hengzhou (Guangxi), Tongren (Guizhou), Xianyang (Shaanxi), Wufeng (Hubei), and Zhenghe (Fujian). Through tea ceremonies, hands-on tea-making, and tasting sessions, they gained firsthand insight into the unique flavors and cultural significance of China’s regional teas, discovering the diverse charm of Chinese tea traditions.
