On the morning of June 21, Dialogue with ‘One Belt and One Road’Tea High-Level Meeting & the Xianyang FuTea Industry Summit jointly sponsored by China Tea Marketing Association, Xicheng District People’s Government of Beijing and Xianyang Municipal People’s government was held in Beijing exhibition center.
Wang Qing, President of China Tea Marketing Association, main leaders of Xianyang city and Xicheng District, business counselor of Ukraine in China, Third Secretary of Sri Lanka in China, business counselor of Kenya in China, as well as experts, representatives of tea enterprises, enterprises of major tea producing countries in the world, tea organizations, envoys in China, media reporters nearly 300 people gathered in Beijing to discuss tea fate, tea affairs and tea industry together.
This session has fully implemented the spirit of the “One Belt and One Road” for international cooperation. In line with the needs of the capital’s function orientation, the center for international exchanges, the spirit of “drinking water together and revitalizing world tea” is the purpose.
The purpose of inviting tea producing and consuming countries to participate in the summit dialogue is to increase exchanges and cooperation between tea producing and consuming countries, broaden tea foreign trade, and boost rural revitalization.Representatives of various countries discussed the exchange and cooperation of tea in the countries along the “one belt and one road”. They offered advice and suggestions for the international tea trade and economic cooperation, and put forward constructive suggestions, pointing out the direction for the healthy and sustainable development of the global tea industry.
