Brooklyn-based has added three new flavors to its premium matcha LOVE Tea bag line, bringing the total up to six. The new matcha blends are: Blueberry+ Lavender, Peach+ Cinnamon and Turmeric+Yuzu. The other flavors in the collection are: Traditional, Apple + Ginger and Lemon Verbena+ Peppermint.
The blends of matcha ground tea leaves and loose leaf tea come in single serve packets that can be brewed hot or cold. Each colorful box holds 10 tea bags.
“We wanted to offer easy options for consumers to enjoy delicious matcha that can easily be integrated into their busy lifestyle” says Rona Tison, Exec. Vice President of Corporate Relations of ITO EN (North America) INC. via a company press release. “Our Matcha LOVE takes the stress out of preparation and helps with a life of ease-helping to stay grounded with a sense of calm and clarity.”

Barre, Vermont-based vinegar and apple sauce company has introduced its first functional vinegar, Green Energy.
Green Energy is a mix of organic apple cider vinegar, organic honey and organic matcha. Its moderate caffeine content provides energy while L-theanine helps support a feeling of calmness. Additionally, the functional vinegar has a healthful amount of antioxidants.
Green Energy can be added to hot and iced teas, smoothies and water.

Monterey Park, Calif.-based is introducing Matchasticks, which are packets containing 2 grams of ceremonial grade matcha.
The matcha in Matchasticks is a proprietary blend of three varietals of green tea leaves, creating a flavor profile the company describes as “balanced and sweet.”
Preparing one of Art of Tea’s Matchasticks is easy, as it just needs to be added to a bottle of hot or cold water and shaken.
