The 17th China Tea Economic Annual Convention was successfully held in Guangxi Province

On October 26-29, the 17th China Tea Economic Annual Convention was held in Sanjiang Dong Nationality Autonomous County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province. The convention was co-organized by China Tea Marketing Association, Department of agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangxi Zhuang Nationality Autonomous Region, and the People’s Government of Liuzhou City. More than 1,000 leaders, guests, industry elites, experts, scholars, and colleagues gathered here to participate in the most grand convention in China’s tea industry in 2021.

Wang Qing, the chairman of CTMA brought very exciting news, “Entering into 2021, as the domestic epidemic is well controlled, China’s tea industry presents a boom in production and sales once again. According to our analysis and prediction, China’s total tea output in 2021 will be about 3-3.2 million tons, and the agricultural output value is expected to reach 280 billion yuan, the total domestic sales is expected to be 2.3-2.5 million tons, and the total domestic sales will exceed 300 billion RMB.”

The convention included the opening ceremony and the 2021 China Tea Brand Pageant published the list of “2021 Top 100 Tea Counties”, “2021 Top 100 Tea Enterprises”,”Advanced Individuals” , and released the “2021 China Tea Industry Development Report”. Activities such as “Eat in Tea County, Drink in Sanjiang” exhibition, Keynote session and health forum, economic and trade fair, science and technology development forum, and tea industry development forum were also held.
