The corrections for these products are marked by an asterisk (*).&nbsp;This additional information was identified during the Canadian Food Inspection Agency\u2019s (CFIA) food safety investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Provisions Inc. is recalling brand teas from the marketplace due to possible&nbsp;<em>Salmonella<\/em>&nbsp;contamination. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.<\/p>\n<p>The following products have been sold nationally.<\/p>\n<p>   Advertisement    <\/p>\n<p><strong>Recalled products<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Gold Rush Loose Leaf, 105g<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Gold Rush Loose Leaf, 110g<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Mint Chill Loose Leaf, 60g<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Mint Chill Loose Leaf, 70g<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Original Loose Leaf, 50g<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Original Loose Leaf, 60g<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Pink Chai Loose Leaf, 90g<\/p>\n<p>Lee\u2019s Tea, Pink Chai Loose Leaf, 30g<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you should do<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.<\/p>\n<p>Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.<\/p>\n<p>Food contaminated with&nbsp;<em>Salmonella<\/em>&nbsp;may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Young children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections. Healthy people may experience short-term symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps and diarrhea. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This recall was triggered by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency\u2019s (CFIA) inspection activities. The CFIA&nbsp;is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
